Camp Cedarcrest Usage Agreement

Welcome to Cedarcrest! We hope you find your stay here relaxing and enjoyable. This property is under the ownership of the InterService Clubs Committee of New Haven, Inc., a Not-For-Profit Organization. As such, Camp Cedarcrest does not employ a paid staff.
Per your rental agreement, before leaving, you agree will clean up any mess your group creates as described in the list below. Failure to do so will result in the loss of part or all of your cleaning deposit and possible denial of future use of the property. We reserve the right to charge for any property damage or cost associated with cleaning beyond the deposit.

Alcohol is not permitted at Camp Cedarcrest!
Please be mindful of our neighbors and our wooded setting. Please keep noise to a minimum after dark.
Please do not drive on the baseball field.
Fires are only permitted in fire circles and with a (free) permit from the Orange Fire Marshal 203-891-1050.

Swimming in the pond is permitted only with a certified lifeguard, which the user must provide.

Dining Hall

Wipe off all tables in dining hall and kitchen counters.
Sweep and mop floor of hall and kitchen.
Check refrigerators and freezer for leftovers and wipe up any mess.
Turn off ovens and grills {The pilot flame should remain on}.
Clean grill tops and wipe down microwave.
Wipe down counters, wipe out sinks.
If you use the outside grill, please clean before you go.
Please take food waste to the dumpster nightly so that animals do not get into your garbage!
The fire suppression system on the grill hood is charged and available if a grease fire starts. If you use the system, you are responsible for the cost of maintenance and re-charging.

Cabins

If you take a mattress out of the cabins or move beds, please return them.
Remove all trash and sweep floors.
Check for your personal belongings.
Turn off lights and shut the door.
****If the cabin lights will not turn on, check to make sure the outside power switch located on each cabin in on.****

Bathrooms

Sweep floors.
Remove all trash and replace bags.
Check for leftover articles of clothing.
If your group is staying overnight you must also: Wipe down sinks and countertops, clean toilets and

****Please empty all garbage cans, replace trash bags, and take all trash to dumpster in parking lot. If you prefer to bring all trash to a central location near the baseball field had have it picked up, please make arrangements before you leave.****

Camp Cedarcrest is under the direction of Site Managers Jacob Urban and Ivory Bagocius.
